Jizake = local sake

We're lucky to have two sake breweries in Brooklyn: Brooklyn Kura & Kato Sake Works. We're also lucky to have Hana Makgeolli, an artisanal Korean rice wine producer right in Greenpoint! Jizake has been key in helping introduce consumers, who might otherwise be unfamiliar, to sake. Visiting breweries and meeting the makers is a great way to break the barrier some people feel when it comes to learning more about sake.
