This shochu is made from re-fermented daiginjo sake kasu giving this spirit beautiful aromatics you would expect from a premium sake, but with no residual sugar thanks to distillation.

Sake Kasu (sake rice lees) / Takahashi Shoten, Fukuoka

The experience: classic ginjo floral and fruity aroma, sweet palate, lovely on the rocks or in a highball

Process: Distillation: Single pot-distilled (vacuum pressure), aged in enamel tanks, ABV: 30.5%

Ingredients: 100% daiginjo sake lees and rice koji

Storage: keep in a cool, dark place
