Brewery: Hamakawa Shoten • Prefecture: Kochi  • Rice: Matsuyama Mii milled to 55% • Yeast: Kochi Yeast AA-41 • Water: Nahari Underground Well Water (very soft) • Sake Meter Value*: +5 • Acidity: 1.3 • ABV: 13%

  • Light bodied and refreshing, low ABV of 13% makes for an ideal hot weather sake.
  • Clean taste with the soft sweetness of rice contrasted by vigorous effervescence.
  • Ideal as an apertif, paired with light whitefish or enjoyed on its own over ice.

“Schwa!” is the sound of bubbles or fizz in Japanese, and Bijofu’s sparkling sake shares all the clarity and precision of their other sake. Delicate sweetness is balanced by fine bubbles laced through the sake, making for a refreshing and lively low ABV sake.

shipping outside of NYC is calculated through a common carrier at checkout! (monthly subscriptions are the only exception) orders go out every Thursday unless stated otherwise

please note: we can only ship sake & wine outside of new york state (whisky or other spirits are excluded)

delivery is available for all of NYC at check out for $10! Wednesday-Friday only. orders must be placed before 1:30pm for same day delivery, otherwise you can plan for the next working day.

Free In-Store Pickup:
The quickest, easiest way to get your bottles! Your subscription will be available for pick up on the first Thursday of every month. Please use the code "FREECLUBPICKUP" or follow this link.
Shipping: 
Shipping east of the Mississippi River will cost a flat rate of $25. West of the river costs $35. Boxes are sent out the first week of the month.  We currently do not ship to the following states: ND, NH, UT, MS, AL, VT, KY, SD. As statutory laws are constantly changing, please note that this list is updated frequently. Bottles ship the first week of every month! Please let us know if you need us to hold your package.
Delivery:
$10 NYC delivery! Bottles will go out on the first Thursday of the month. Please use the code "10DOLLARNYCDELIVERY" at checkout or follow this link.
Please reach out if you won't be home to receive your order, we can pick a different date together. Somebody 21+ NEEDS to be home to sign for the bottles. If you'd like to pick up one month, let us know before the first of the month and we'll make sure you aren't charged for delivery.

Can I pause or suspend my subscription? Yes to both! ReCharge makes this super simple in your member portal. You can also email us and we'll do it manually on our end.
